Biography

Marriage

According to the marriage contract between Jacob Morgan Jr. and William Swan: Abraham Copenhaver was to marry Margaret Ann Morgan shortly after 12 Oct 1844. Jacob is not able to write, as he signs his mark to the contract with William Swan providing his own signature.

Death

Margaret died in 1865 at her house in McKim District. She suffered from Colic and passed away at 45 years of age. Her death record states she is the daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth Morgan, wife of Abraham Copenhaver.^[1]

Burial

Margaret A Morgan Copenhaver (1822-1866) is buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Pine Grove, Pleasants County, West Virginia. [1]
