Charles Morgan was probably born in late November of 1767 in Templecombe, Somerset, England and was christened in St. Mary church in Templecombe on December 06, 1767.[1][2]. He was the second son of Edmund Morgan and Elizabeth Helliar.
Charles married Sarah Hilliar on December 03, 1792 in Gillingham, Dorset, England[3]. The marriage record shows Charles as a resident of Templecombe. The marriage took place after Banns were published on the 11th, 18th and 25th of November of the same year[4].
Charles and Sarah’s first child, Charles was christened in Buckhorn Weston, Dorset England, the residence of Charles parents. Their other eight children were all christened in Gillingham, Dorset with exception of their second son, John, who was also christened in Buckhorn Weston.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Charles by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Charles:
Morgan-6640 and Morgan-13833 appear to represent the same person because: Morgan-13833 has a daughter whose Elizabeth whose birth date is the same as Morgan-6639. I suggest that these two Charles are the same person.
