I've only done light research into Dora's family and will not add individual profiles or details on her parents or siblings. I'll add what I've stumbled across here and hopefully a direct descendant will add further detail to this family.
"Homan Morgan settled in White Oak Grove, south of Chana, in 1836. He had been a Baptist minister in Ohio. His oldest son, Lyman, built a grist mill on the Kyte river, and afterwards moved to Wisconsin, where he became known as the inventor of the Morgan water-wheel. His parents moved to Wisconsin and lived with him. Another son, Homan, still resides on section 25." [1]
Someday, I hope that a wikitree researcher will outline Dora's ancestry. According to the link above her paternal grandmother was Susanna Townsend from Pennsylvania. Will Susanna be related to Dora's husband's paternal grandmother Minerva Townsend also from Pennsylvania?

The Morgans may have travelled to Illinois with other Pennsylvanian settlers. This family shows up on the 1850 census living next door to Merit Dailey-539.
