Son of Charles Morgan and Harriet Boughner, Percy Morgan was born in Saline Township, Michigan[citation needed] in 1871, residing there with his family.[1] He attended school in nearby Macon Township and the Cleary Business College in Ypsilanti.[2]
Percy married Mae (Osgood) Morgan, marrying in Macon Township, Michigan on September 3, 1893.[3] and having four children together. Percy and Mae made their home for a time with his in-laws, residing in Macon Township and farming.[4] They purchased farm land that close to Mae's parents' farm by 1910, they had established their own household in Macon Township.[5][6][7][8]
Percy was active in his community, serving as Treasurer of the Mills school district for 25 years, and was a member and officer of the Presbyterian church at Macon Township. He also was a member of the Knights of the Maccabees at Macon.[2] Percy Morgan passed away at home in Macon Township[9][10] at the age of 76, having been in failing health for a number of months.[2] He and Mae are buried at Macon Cemetery in Macon Township.[11]
