Robert Jeptha Morgan was born on 31 Mar 1888 in Randolph, Alabama, son of John Francis Morgan (1849 - 1917) and Louisa Elizabeth (Perryman) Morgan (1855 - 1930).

Robert died on 20 Dec 1917 in Heflin, Cleburne aged 29.
