Biography

Born 12 FEB 1738. Perquimons, North Carolina, United States. [1]

Some have named her as the daughter of James Morgan. However, I have not seen anything to support this. Despite scouring the Quaker records of Pasquotank and Perquimans Counties, I have not been able to find any hints as to Miriam's parents. I even looked into the possibility that Morgan was a married name, but didn't find a marriage record between a Miriam and a man with the last name of Morgan.

She married Caleb Bundy between April 7, 1763, when the second intentions were entered into the minutes, and May 5, 1763, when those appointed to attend the wedding reported back.

Unidentified LDS Ancestral File gave the date and location for the marriage of CALEB BUNDY and MIRIAM NICHOLSON MORGAN as May 5, 1765, Pasquotank Co., NC. JLA 8/11/97. This is from the Ancestry.com Winslow-Bundy-Thompson...family tree.
