Biography

Isabella Sarah Morgan (married name McNay) was born on 13 September 1877 in Euroa, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Marianne Armstrong (Pike) Morgan and Thomas Morgan.^[1]

Isabella was a Paternal Aunt of Daisy Marion Morgan. Daisy always referred to Isabella as "Aunty Ease" (sic)^[2]

Isabella died on 17 December 1946 in Yarrawonga, Victoria, aged 69 years.^[3]

Research Notes

No records from our family's many years of collaborative research have shown Mary Ann/Marrian nee Pike referred to as Marianne Armstrong Pike so I'd love to know where this name came from. One of Mary Ann Pike's Paternal Aunts was named Marian and she married John Edward Armstrong. Perhaps that is where the confusion lies. I will be adding more family members during the January 2023 connect-a-thon.
