Biography

Morgan Morgan ii was born 20 March 1737 at Bunker Hill, Frederick County, Virginia, now Berkeley County, West Virginia, the eighth and youngest of nine known children and seven sons of Col. Morgan and Catherine Garretson Morgan.
On 17 November 1761, when he was twenty-four, he married Mary Gossett in Frederick County, Virginia. She bore him eleven known children, six sons and five daughters:

  3. Zackquill Morgan
  4. Rebekah Morgan
  5. Eli Morgan
  6. Morgan Morgan
  7. Mary Morgan
  8. Cynthia Morgan
  9. Archilles Morgan

  11. Catharine Morgan
On 20 October 1797, when he was sixty, he died in Bunker Hill, Berkeley County, Virginia of unknown causes.
