No documentary evidence has yet been produced showing that Hans Stoeckli's (John Stickley's) wife was Barbara Morgan or that specific birth and death dates can be verified. His wife was named Barbara, but she was most likely from one of the early Swiss/German Mennonite families in the Shenandoah Valley and was certainly not born in the Shenandoah Valley in 1710, since no European settlers lived there until at least 20 years later.
