Biography

Ralph was born in 1789. He was the son of John Morgan and Martha Constant. He passed away in 1869. [1][2]

Nancy Anna Sturgis married Ralph Morgan on 15 April 1819 in Greene County, Ohio.[3][4]

The 20 November 1850 Cass County, Illinois census listed Ralph Morgan age 63 born Kentucky and wife Anna [Sturgis] Morgan age 50 born South Carolina. The children listed in their household were Daniel B. Morgan age 21 IL, Ruth A. Morgan age 17 IL, James Morgan age 15 IL, Martha A. [Morgan] Deweber age 29 and her husband Amos Deweber age 25.


The 14 July 1860 Atchison County, Missouri census taken for Nishnabotna Twp., P.O. Sonora listed Ralph Morgan age 69 KY and wife Ann Morgan 59 born North Carolina with son James B. Morgan 24 Illinois.
