Biography
Elizabeth was baptised in Gloucester on 27 June 1824. Her parents were Matthew and Mary. Matthew was a labourer and it was noted they lived at Whitecroft. [1]
Elizabeth married John Kear at Lydney in 19 October 1844. The couple both lived in Aylburton. John was a Collier, as was her father. [2] The couple baptised a number of children.
Elizabeth's first husband, John Kear, died in 1856 at the age of 36.
She then married, Matthew Beach in Merthyr Tydfil district in 1857 and they had one child, Elizabeth or Sarah Elizabeth Beach. [3]
Elizabeth died aged 73 in 1894. She was buried in Bream on 17th January. It was noted she had been living in Sun Green. [4]
