Jonathan J was born in 1825. He passed away in 1901.
According to the 1870 U.S. Federal Census,
The census was taken on the July 26, 1870. Jackson, Guthrie, Iowa. Sarah was 40 years old and married to Jonathon Morris (age 44), her birthplace was South Carolina. The value of their real estate was $30,000 and their personal estate $4,000.
Six children are listed on the census. It is inferred they are Jonathon an Sarah's children.
John W age 15, James R age 13, Henry F age 10, Lucy P age 8, Jeannette F age 6 and Allen H age 4.
