Marie Sellers Clinton, MS

Marie Sellers, age 87, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2013 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Visitation will be Friday, October 11, 2013 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Saturday, October 12, 2013 from the chapel of Lakewood Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.

She was born February 3, 1926 in Clinton, MS to the late George and Evie Varner Morris. She retired as bookkeeper with the Hinds County Tax Collector's Office. She was a member of Faith Methodist Protestant Church.

She is preceded in death by parents; husband, Nevil J. Sellers; step-son, James Elton Sellers; sisters, Evelyn Chappell and Frances Ward.

Survivors include: sons, Nevil Wayne Sellers (Dorothy) of Newton, MS and Henry J. "Jerry" Sellers (Dianne) of Clinton, MS; grandchildren, Dana Phillips (David), Vicki Sellers, Judy Antoine (David), Valerie Davis (Scott), Amanda Sellers, Zenda Heafner, Al Sellers; great grandchildren, Danae Phillips, Dawson Phillips, Tanner Davis, Annie Kate Davis, Ellie Antoine, Lee Heafner, Ryan Heafner, Morgan Sellers and Charlotte Drane. ^[1]
