MARRIAGE: Married to Ada Lenora Pope, 28 April 1885. Not sealed to spouse as of 1993. 1885 Census shows Walter married to Ada and living near his father's home in Nebraska [Bradshaw]. They moved to Broken Bow, Nebraska in September 1908.

Walt and Ada Leonora (Nona) had four children: Alice Maude (Murphy); Walter Fredrick Morrison; Helen Dee (Erickson); and Florence Virginia Morrison.

Walt ran a shoe store and harness shop at Bradshaw for seventeen or eighteen years before he was compelled by failing health to sell it. He bought a farm west of Broken Bow then later moved to Bethany, Nebraska, remaining there to run a feed store until the fall of 1911 when they returned to Broken Bow. Spring 1919 he moved to Bayard, Nebraska where he ran a clothing store, and this remained his home until his death.
He was a member of the Christian Church in Bradshaw, Nebraska and later a member at Broken Bow. The last year of his life, he served as an elder in the Broken Bow congregation. He was also a member of Bradshaw Masonic lodge, No. 255 A.F. & A.M. and Signal Chapter No. 282 O.E.S. at Bayard.
