Note: James Morrison was a Confederate soldier. He died June 12, 1864 while a prisoner at Ft. Delaware in Delaware. He is buried at Finns Point National Cemetery in New Jersey. His widow Anna and family left Roane County in 1885 and moved with the Gideon Morrison's to Missouri. She homesteaded near Bakersfield, MO.
