Note N42Death Certificate 168/03 0277 dated 31/08/1953 shows Charles died due to Coronary thrombosis at 10:40am On North Side of Upper Kirkgate Aberdeen, near St. Nicholas Street.

This was amended by a Register of Corrected Entries Entry 277 in the register Book of death for the year 1953 Volume 10, page 175 for the Greater District of Aberdeen in the Burgh of Aberdeen. It amends the cause of death as follows: "Apparently Coronary Thrombosis while engaged in the course of his work as a labourer with Aberdeen Town Council. Per Verdict of Jury.
