Marriage
Richard & Eliza Jane's marriage record, which I just found recently (July 2018), offers previously unknown clues about Eliza Jane.
This new-found record shows Eliza's maiden name as MORRIS, and not MORRISON (as written on her death record).
The record reads, Richard Hill, (no age given), residing in Elizabethtown (Township, Leeds County), son of Thomas Hill and Elizabeth Hill, married Eliza Jane MORRIS, (no age recorded), born and residing in Bastard (Township, Leeds County), daughter of Henry Morris and Elizabeth Morris, married in Bastard (Township), Saturday, June 27th, 1858.
The record immediately preceding Richard & Eliza Jane's marriage reads:
Henry Morris, 23, born and residing in Bastard Township, son of Henry Morris, (mother's name not recorded), married Eliza Jane McCue, 20, born and residing in Bastard Township, daughter of John McCue and Mary McCue, married in Bastard (Township), Wednesday, June 24th, 1858.
I then found a corroborating record in the 1851 Census for Bastard Township:
Death
Eliza's death record gives her name as Eliza Jane Morrison, age 32 years, wife of Richard Hill. Her cause of death was consumption (tuberculosis), 1 year & 6 mos).
Burial
From the cemetery transcriptions done by OCFA, it would appear Eliza Jane Hill is buried in the Hill Family Cemetery in Jellyby.
