Biography

James Christopher Morrison was born in November 6, 1929, son of Joe Morrison and Mary Nichol.[1] He lived only a year, dying from meningitis on December 27, 1930.[2]

According to the death certificate for James, also had spina bifida, a birth defect in which a developing baby's spinal cord fails to develop properly. James' maternal aunt, Florence Nichol Curry, also had a son with spina bifida, who survived to adulthood, but was wheelchair bound all his life. Spina bifida is not necessarily genetic or heriditary, but does seem to run in families.
