Retired Army Capt. Garland Victor Morrison, 88, of 6950 Fillyaw Road, Fayetteville, died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel by the Revs. David George and Dave Rimel. Burial will be in LaFayette Memorial Park. Mr. Morrison is survived by two sons, Baxter T. Morrison of Cumberland and Jerry D. Morrison of Fayetteville; two daughters, Nancy M. Holland and Doris M. Crites, both of Fayetteville; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
