In 1860 Mary was in Marion Iowa living with Isaac and Mary Pittman and others. In 1870 Mary was in Kansas now living with her mother Elizabeth and husband Jacob Combs and offspring. In 1905 (On my birthday ironically) a Mary Westmoreland is giving birth to a baby girl named Helen Christina Eichstaedt in Los Angeles. Father listed as J J Eichstaedt. Mothers maiden name listed as PIT MORROW... as in Pittman, Morrow. Now, here is the crazy thing... the birth certificate clearly states the birth as April 13, 1905 BUT it is stamped as filed and again as Dated AUG 26 1931... 1931 not 1905... so what happened to that 26 year gap or was it dated incorrectly when filled out by hand?
