Biography

James R. Morrow was born July 25, 1893.[1]

James R Marrow was enumerated as son of the head of household in Civil District 17, Putnam County, Tennessee for the June 7, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farm laborer. He had been born July 1884 in Tennessee and was single. Also included in the household are head James Marrow, wife Emla N Marrow, daughter Sarah C Marrow, son Alamo Marrow, daughter Cora Dulney Marrow, son Stephen H Marrow, daughter Leola Marrow and father-in-law William Carlen as seen in an image of the original census.[2]

Rosco Morrow wed Minnie Judd October 29, 1911 in Putnam County, Tennessee.[3]

On April 1, 1935, Roscoe Morrow lived in Baxter, Putnam County, Tennessee.[4]

Roscoe Morrow was enumerated as head of the household at Baxter, Putnam County, Tennessee for the April 5, United States Census, 1940. He was noted as born 1884 in Tennessee and married. He owned a home worth $900. He was an assistant P.M. (U.S. Post Office) as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household is wife Minnie Morrow.[4]

James R. Morrow died July 27, 1943 in Murfreesboro, Rutherford County, Tennessee. He was married. His wife was listed as Minnie Morrow. He was a clerk (post office) and his residence place was Baxter, Putnam County, Tennessee. He was to be buried in a family cemetery in Baxter, Tennessee on July 28, 1943.[1]

James Roscoe Morrow is buried at Judd-Morrow Cemetery on Dyer Ridge Road in Baxter, Putnam County, Tennessee.[5]
