James R. Morrow was born July 25, 1893.^[1]

James R Marrow was enumerated as son of the head of household in Civil District 17, Putnam County, Tennessee for the June 7, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farm laborer. He had been born July 1884 in Tennessee and was single. Also included in the household are head James Marrow, wife Emla N Marrow, daughter Sarah C Marrow, son Alamo Marrow, daughter Cora Dulney Marrow, son Stephen H Marrow, daughter Leola Marrow and father-in-law William Carlen as seen in an image of the original census.^[2]

Rosco Morrow wed Minnie Judd October 29, 1911 in Putnam County, Tennessee.^[3]
