Phebe became a member of the LDS Church between 1830 - 1848.
Phebe (Morton) Young was a Latter Day Saint pioneer.
Phebe is the daughter of Abraham Morton (1762 MA-1839 OH) and Phebe (Langford) Morton (1761 VT-1845 Nauvoo, IL)
Phebe married James Williams (named for the Protestant theologian Roger Williams) Angell about 1802 in New York. They had ten children, several of whom joined the LDS Church. James and Phebe eventually separated, and she went to Utah with her adult children. Her daughter Mary Ann was Brigham Young’s second wife. Phebe and her daughter Jemima both married Brigham Young on the same day, January 28, 1846.
