Biography

Elizabeth Morton, born c1762, married Jeremiah Mowry at Smithfield, Rhode Island on on July 15, 1781. Jeremiah was born there on March 24, 1742, son of Joseph and Margery (Mowry) Mowry. ^{[1] [2]}

Jeremiah died on July 11, 1826. ^[3]

Elizabeth died on April 27, 1851 and is buried in the Mowry Aldrich Lot, North Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island, along with Jeremiah. ^[4]

1. Ruth, born on February 13, 1782 ^[1]; died in September, 1875; married John Thayer of Douglas, Massachusetts. ^[2]
2. Rachel born about 1884; died in October, 1856 ^[5]; marrried Williard Smith of Smithfield. ^[2]
