On 30 May 1940, she died, at the Philadelphia State Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, of pulmonary tuberculosis; she also had asthenia. On 4 June 1940, she was buried in Odd Fellows' Cemetery, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [1]
