Biography
Ivy Ellen Morton was born on 14 Apr 1897 in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England to William Morton and Mary Louisa (Reynolds) Morton. Her birth was registered in Lincoln in the second quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Reynolds.[1]
Ivy Ellen Morton, daughter of William & Mary Louisa, was baptised on 3 May 1897 in Lincoln.[2]
In 1901 Ivy Ellen Morton (age 3) lived in Lincoln St Swithin with her father William (30, Engine Pattern Maker), mother Mary L (29), and two brothers: William A (6) and Frank (5).[3]
In 1911 Ivy Ellen Morton (age 14, School) lived in Lincoln with her father William (40, Pattern Maker for Iron Foundry Agricultural Engineers), mother Mary Louisa (38), and five siblings: William Arthur (16, Pawnbrokers Apprentice), Frank (15, Moulders Apprentice), Charles Gordon Leonard (8), Sydney Claude (5), and Clara Alma (4).[4]
Ivy E Morton married John G H Reynolds in 1920. The marriage was registered in Lincoln in the first quarter of the year.[5]
Ivy's husband passed away in 1979.
Ivy Ellen Reynolds passed away in 1983. Her death was registered in Lincoln in the last quarter of the year - death registration includes her date of birth: 14 Apr 1897.[6]
