Edmond was born in April 1855 in Ontario Canada English. He was the son of Edward Morton and Rebecca (Smith) Morton.[1] In 1871 they were living in East Gwillimbury, North York, Ontario.[2]
Edmond died at the age of 85 on 22 July 1940 in Tacoma, Washington.[8][9][10] He was buried in Tacoma Cemetery, Pierce County, Washington.[11]
