Research Notes

Familysearch.org has Joseph Morton [1] 27 December 1709 – 28 June 1782 • LZB9-MPL as the father of Joseph Morton. This isn't possible for the following reasons: 1. Joseph, 1709 was born and died in Virginia. 2. Joseph left a will and he doesn't mention a son named Joseph or a son named Benjamin.[1]
