Gilbert Morton, 1779 - 1781 Gilbert Morton was born on month day 1779, at birth place, to John Morton and Marrion Morton (born Friergrieve). John was born on February 5 1749, in South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland. Marrion was born in 1753. Gilbert had 4 siblings: Thomas Morton and 3 other siblings. Gilbert passed away on month day 1781, at age one.
