Biography
Jane Moss was born about 1789 in Virginia. It is believed that she died ion Virginia after 1870.
She was the wife of Henry Franklin of Amherst, Virginia.
Apparently her family were well acquainted with the Jeremiah Franklin family of Amherst, Virginia. Jeremiah' son Willis Franklin married Polly C Moss on 29 Jul 1813 in Amherst, Virginia. [1] Jeremiah's daughter Jane Buckner Franklin married Anderson H. Moss on 23 Jun 1823 in Amherst, Virginia. [2]
On 12 (or 14) Dec 1809, Jane married Jeremiah's son Henry Franklin in Amherst County, Virginia.[3] [4] Henry lived his entire life in Amherst, Virginia. [5] [6] [7] [8]
It is believed that Jane and Henry had the following children:
