Edith Moss was born in Moravia, New York on 14 March 1884. She was the daughter of George Moss and Emma Wright.[1][2]
Edith’s mother died of tuberculosis in January 1885 when Edith was 10 months old. [3] Her father, unable to take care of her and her brother Richard, left the children in the care of the Cayuga Home For Destitute Children. Edith lived at the home until she married.[4][5]
Family
Edith Moss married Woolsey McKay at Auburn, NY on 21 September 1903. [6]
The couple had six children: Marion, Irving, Donald, Marjory, Doris and Robert.
Death and Burial
Edith Moss died in Auburn, NY on 19 March 1951. She was buried in Fort Hill Cemetery in Auburn on 22 March 1951.

MacKay were quietly married at the parsonage of the Central Presbyterian Church, No. 31 Grover Street, last evening. The ceremony was performed at 7:30 o'clock, Rev. F. W. Palmer, D. D., officiating. Arthur C. Wallace and Miss Christina MacKay were the attendants. Mr. and Mrs. MacKay will reside at No. 118 Washington Street. They have the best wishes of numerous friends for a bright and happy future.
