Funeral services for Albert Moss, 78, of Omaha, who died Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lyle Mickey at Sioux City, Iowa, was held Saturday at the Methodist Church in Wolbach. Burial was in the Hillside Cemetery.
Mr. Moss was born June 5, 1881, at Wahoo, Nebr. He moved to Wolbach in 1900, later residing on a South Dakota homestead before returning to Wolbach. He lived in Omaha from 1931 until he went to Sioux City last May. While in Omaha, he owned, trained and raced thoroughbred horses.
Mr. Moss married the former Ada Davis Sept. 6, 1899, at Wahoo. She died Febr. 1, 1927. He married the former Verda Current at Grand Island Oct. 18, 1928.
He was a member of the Methodist church at Wahoo and the United States Horsemen's association.
Survivors, in addition to Mrs. Mickey, include the widow, two other daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Winchester of Omaha and Mrs. Harold Bradford of Parmelee, South Dakota; a son, James also of Omaha; a sister, Mrs. Eva perry of Grand Island, 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
