Biography

Son of Moses Moss and Esther. He was a commercial traveler.

Was supposedly engaged to marry actress Myrtle Hofer, whom later attempted to sue him for failing to marry her. The court case ended in June 1902 following revelations of Miss Hofer's other affairs and deceitfulness for obtaining monies from defendant Mr Moss for a made up illegitimate child in need. Later married Florence Earl on March 28 1903.

Died Tuesday August 1 1916, aged 59 years at his residence, St Arnauds, Raglan Street, Mosman. His funeral was held the next day at Mrs. Kirby's Mortuary Chambers, 7 Elizabeth Street at 1 PM and he was laid to rest at Rookwood [Old Jewish] Cemetery later that day.
