Daughter of Lewis and Nancy E. (Unger) Moss of Carroll County, Indiana. Sister of Mary, David, Lee, Frank, Stella, Letta, Edna, Roxie, and Alice. Wife of Acy Powell, farmer in Carroll and Cass Counties in Indiana. Mother of Alfred R., Mary G., Dale Moss., and Raymond H. In 1940, her granddaughter, Betty J. Powell, was also living with the family. Amanda died in 1956 and is buried in Flora, Indiana.
