DESCENDANTS

Their daughter Sarah Moss, called "Sallie," middle name Winn, Wynn or Wynne, was born Apr 17, 1769, as registered at St James Northan Parish, VA.

Sallie Wynne Moss married George Gordon, a Revolutionary soldier, who was vouchered Sep 11, 1788 in the Light Dragoons, District of Kentucky. He may be the George Gordon buried at Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio.

He and his wife had several children including Sarah (who married George Gordon), Keturah (who married David Leitch, Gen. James Taylor), Jane (Brown), Mary (Judge John Coburn) Dr. James (Mary Woodson), and Nancy.

"Their daughter, Keturah Gordon was born Jan 18, 1791 in Fayette County, KY (it was still part of Virginia at the time). Fayette County is the Lexington area.

She married Isaac Gouverneur Burnet (1784-1856), who was the first mayor of Cincinnati, serving from 1819 to 1831. He was born in Bryant Station, KY/VA, and moved to Cincinnati in 1804.

Presumably, that is where he married Keturah Gordon in 1806.
