I discovered that Dan was my uncle's middle name when I found his parents in the 1910 census where he is listed as a son aged 7, born in 1903. I discovered his memorial listed in Find a Grave when researching other relatives, thus finding his precise birth and death dates. Later I found a reference to Eula Moss, his mother and my grandmother, in reference to his death certificate registered with the State of Alabama.
