Eli may have died in the year 1875, 1 year earlier than stated on his headstone. The cemetery's index card file has 1876 but another pen has overwritten the "6" with a "5".[3]
Eli Moulton is recorded as the father of Mary Kanistanaux at the time of her death in 1906.[4]
