Newspaper Clipping found among Elisabeth Countryman's stuff Mrs. William Countryman. Hannah Moyer, widow of William Countryman, died at 3.10 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Miss Mary Countryman, in Amsterdam, after having been ill since the previous Monday of the infirmities of advanced years. Mrs. countryman, who was in her 80th year, was born in the town of Danube, Herkimer county, October 4, 1842, and passed most of her life at Starkville. She came to Amsterdam last Thanksgiving time to make her home with her daughter, who is a teacher in the Academy street school. Besides her daughter in Amsterdam, Mrs. Countryman leaves two sons, Daniel H. of Starkville and Emory D. of Sterling, Ill., a sister, Mrs. Christina Mickle of Hartwick; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral was held at the Catharine Nellis Memorial chapel Wednesday at 12 o'clock.
