Biography

Anna Catharina was born in Niederneisen in Hessen, Germany, the daughter of Johan Gottfried Müller and Katharina Elisabetha Kreusler. She married Johann Adam Hoff in 1727 in Friedelsheim, and they had one child together before emigrating to America in 1730. They arrived in Philadelphia in the Pennsylvania Colony on the ship 'Joyce', and later that year, both Catharina and her daughter died.
