Henry Edward "Harry" Muller was born on 2 August 1876 at Emu Flat, Victoria, Australia, the son of Wilhelmina (Bertram) Muller and Andrew Muller.[citation needed]
His occupation was Miner Laborer, Tramways for 26 years.
He married Alice Maude Mapleback on 4 December 1906 in Richmond, Victoria.[1] Their children were:[citation needed]
Henry died on 20 April 1943 in Coburg, Victoria.[2] His remains were buried in Coburg.[citation needed]
Henry (Harry) was enrolled at Rushworth School in October 1888 aged 12 years and 2 months. At the age of 15 Harry was trapped in a mine cave at Costerfield. He was a member of the Salvation Army band in Rushworth and later in Melbourne. During W.W.1. Harry and Alice moved to 45 Rodda Street, Coburg (Melbourne) where they remained the rest of their lives. Harry worked for the tramways for 26 years. The children Alice and Mena remember when young being taken by their grandmother Wilhelmina to visit the Crown Cross mine. Alice was the daughter of George and Mary (Redmond) Mapleback.
