Biography

Ltn. Colonel Godfrey Basil Mundy, XXIV Count of Mondaye was born in 1776. He was in 3rd Dragoons and served in the Peninsula from August to November 1811. He landed with the regiment August 1811.

Mundy was appointed lieutenant colonel 2nd Foot 2 July 1812.

Mundy also served at Walcheren 1809, so perhaps recurrence of Walcheren fever?
