Biography
Born on 29 August 1771, Francis Mundy was the eldest son of Francis Noel Clarke Mundy of Markeaton and his second wife Elizabeth Burdett. He was educated at Eton and Christ Church, Oxford.
On 16 December 1800 he married Sarah Newton, daughter of John Leaper Newton of Mickleover. They had a son and four daughters.
He succeeded his father in 1815 and died on 6 May 1837.
