Biography

Solomon Munson was born to Samuel and Martha (Farnes) Munson, in Wallingford, Connecticut, February 18, 1690.^[1]. Solomon married first, Mary Moss, June 28, 1714, in Wallingford, Connecticut.^[1] They had the following children in Wallingford:^[1]

• Martha, b September 14, 1715
• Samuel, b September 15, 1717
• Eliasaph, b November 17, 1719

Solomon removed to Morristown, New Jersey, apparently after at least his first three children were born in Wallingford.^[1]

He married second, Tamar (unknown), born about 1701, died January 17, 1779.^[1] Solomon and Tamar were married sometime before Aug 13, 1742 when they were recognized as being members of the Presbyterian Church in West Hanover.^[2] Solomon died in 1773, likely in Morristown, New Jersey and is buried at the First Presbyterian Churchyard.
