Sarah Munson was born in CT. perhaps in New Haven CT in 1756. Her parents were Timothy Munson and Sarah Bishop. Her parents moved to Newtown CT and Brookfield CT, and eventually to Pownal, VT. She married William Oviatt (usually spelled Ovaitt in VT records) of New Milford, CT. They resided in Pownal VT. Sarah died on 4 September 1846 in Powal, VT.
