Biography

Katherine was born about 1814 in Madras, India.^[1][2] In 1831, she married Rev. John Henry Bright in Saint John the Baptist Church of England, Pinner, Middlesex.^[3] According to the original paper slip index card, John lived in the parish of Yardley, County Worcester, at the time of their marriage.^[4][5] Their daughter (Charlotte Phoebe) Florence was born in Yardley in 1832.^[6]

In 1841, John became the Church of England curate of Adbaston parish, diocese of Lichfield, district of Newport Salop, Staffordshire.^[7][8] Katherine died there in 1868.^[9]
