Born July 5, 1893, eight miles southwest of Bentonville, he had lived his entire life in the area. Mr. Murdock was a farmer. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Elsie Fields Murdock of the home, one daughter, Mrs. Dennis Stride, Minneapolis, Minn., one son, Robert H Murdock, Joplin, Mo. , one sister, Mrs. Clida Wood, Long Beach, Calif., one brother, Albert Murdock, North Little Rock; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
