Biography

Godfrey was born in 1846. He was the son of Godfrey Murdock and Tacy Pierpoint. He married Melissa Fortney (b. 03 January 1846; d. 04 March 1903). They had three children (Ida, Minna and Perry), and son son Perry had 5 children (Nate, Marguerite, Wyona, Martha, and Kathryn). Ida and Minna had no children.

He was living next to his father (Godfrey Murdock Sr.) during the 1880 Census (Walnut, Illinois).
