Hello Jerry,

I've awarded you the Magna Carta Project badge. Welcome as a participating member of the Project where you will be working to preserve, develop and improve the ancestral trails and profiles of Magna Carta Gateway ancestors and Surety Barons.

Your first Magna Carta participation requirenet is to choose a recognized (from :Magna Carta Ancestry, Douglas Richardson) Gateway Ancestor whose profile and Magna Carta Trail you would be interested in being Guardian of.

The following links will provide you with a Project approved list of Gateway Ancestors with known connections to one or more MC surety barons. Refer to it in making your choice of Gateway(s) that you will be Guardian of. Once you have made that choice we will add you to the "Trail Tracks" and "Base Camp" lists.

Contact me or Liz if you have any questions !

Hi Jerry,

I sent you a PM about the Rutherford and McMath profiles. It didn't register that it was sent from this end, so I composed a second one. If you end up with two messages, that is why!

Hi Jerry,

Thank you for your contributions to WikiTree. Per our Honor Code and pre-1700 certification, "personal genealogy" is not an adequate source, particularly for pre-1700 profiles.

This might be some help for getting started with appropriate sources: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources

Thanks, Dave

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz, Jerry!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordinating with others is essential.

Based on your contributions I recommend: US Southern Colonies Project leaders Paula J and Mags Gaulden for your ancestors.

Here is the list Pre-1700 Projects list to review other possibilities. Read the goals and tasks of the projects and join those which are a good fit.

Have questions? Ask in the comments section of my profile.

Jerry,

I noticed you listed your ancestor Tilmon Bryant as being the son of John Bryant. Can you share any historical link between the two? I've been seeking Tilmon's parentage for years. Many thanks. Richard Bryan

Hi Jerry,

Thanks for joining WikiTree! As a mentor I'm here to help. If you have questions or problems with WikiTree, post a comment on my profile page or send a private message.

Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so look for duplicates before adding new profiles. Remember to add dates and locations. And if you have royal ancestors, contact the EuroAristo Project to see about connecting to pre-existing royal lines.

If you feel lost, start with How To Use WikiTree, and check out the Help Index.
