Daniel Murphree was born October 9, 1781 to Solomon Murphree and Sarah Ward in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
He died, at the age of 69, on March 4, 1851 in Blount County, Alabama. He is buried at the Old Mount Moriah Cemetery, Hoods Crossroads, Blount County, Alabama.[1]
Daniel and his brother-in-law Asa Bynum died on the same day.
