Architectural Career Grew up in La Petite Partie district of Montreal and graduated from the McGill School of Architecture in ’64. After graduation, worked on Habitat ’67 then travelled extensively throughout Asia and Europe. Since then, involved on a number of important projects: McGill’s Pollack Concert Hall, the Windsor University Student Library and the University of Quebec’s Design Pavilion to name a few. Retired from architecture in 2001 to write full time and to pursue my interest in art.
Writing Career
Enrolled in various creative writing courses at McGill and Concordia.
Winner in the 2000/2001 CBC/Quebec Writers Federation Competition. The winning entry, “Antoine’s Dog,” was dramatized on radio then later anthologized by Véhicule Press in Telling Stories: New English Stories from Quebec. Another story, “Either Ya Got It Or Ya Don’t,” appeared in the literary journal Lichen in 2004, “A Lennie Cohen Day,” was published in 201I in Descant, “Dust To Dust,” in Existere in 2015, and "Abbie's Garden," was published online on Birch Gang website in the USA. Currently working on a second novel and a compilation of short stories.
