Sarah was born in 1769. Most sources I have come across have listed her as born in Ireland, with one source specifically naming Belfast. It is also possible that she was born in North Carolina. She married Henry Langston on January 23, 1789, in Laurens County, SC. She died in Laurens County in 1854.
She is buried at Langston Baptist Church in Clinton, SC, most likely in the old cemetery.
Her gravestone reads: [1]
"Sacred to the memory of Sarah Langston, Consort of the late Henry Langston, dec., who was born Nov 29, 1769, died May 16th 1854, aged 84 years, 5 months, 17 days"
"Blessed are the dead
that die in the Lord
for they rest from their labours
and their works do follow them."
